Oh Yes...
The dreaded
dust-under-the-screen problem.
My k700 has also just fallen victim to the first speck of dust. I must say, it is pretty frustraiting and obvious on such a nice screen.
Any pics on how to remove the facia?

@etaab
Well.. as I've only had the k700 for a few weeks and it's still brand-new, I'm referring to the dust as OEM-dust (SE branded bona-fida dustTM).
You cant solve this problem by wrapping the K700 in a case.
Fact - the dust seems to get in via the gap between the Joystick and the chassis, which is exposed to the dusty environment of your pocket/car/house.
Fact - a clear case requires a hole for the joystick, which means the joystick is exposed to the dusty environment of your pocket/car/house.
Fact - a closed case will built up dust over time as you need to pull the phone out to use it, which means the joystick is exposed to the dusty environment of your car/house/crappy case.

However, a case that repels dust away from it stops dust from settling inside or on the outside. My case does such a thing, its quite amazing how i can keep the case inside my pocket and no dust sticks to it or gets inside to the K700. Everytime i pull my K700 out of the case its like it just came from SE. No scratches, no dust. Perfect.
Of course with it being a full body sealed case you can only use the phone when you take it out, but i only take my K700 out of the case when im going to use it. I never take it out, and leave it out.
If you wanted to be picky you could argue that dust will get to the phone whilst its in my hand, but its not the same as leaving the phone in a dusty pocket or on a shelf. Any dust that gets onto the phone i wipe off before putting it back in its case. Im sure one day dust will infiltrate the phone, but it will take a thousand times longer than it did with my T610, which i kept in my pocket all the time.

Actually.. there is yet another way to protect your K700 from dust.
Just keep it in the box. Preferrably Off.
Hopefully when the time comes to sell it, it will look as new as the day it was purchased.
The bonus with this method of dust protect, is the added benefit of removing all problems and bugs esato users have currently experienced while using the phone.

And in view of the price of the calls you won't do, you can even go to a good restautant once a week with the money you save.
