The price of most mobiles drop and I do agree with you, much better to wait a little before purchase, not only because of the price, but also to find out how it performs.
The S700 will be a success, in my opinion, but I wouldn't have thought that it would be a major success; size and cost will probably hold it back somewhat.

i think its not about comparison of functions... i believe some users prefer to use a 'rare' phone instead of too 'common' phones like T610 or nokia 8250 where you can see everywhere... its like nokia 8850...its much more expensive than other nokia models but with similar functionality.. some even says its worse... but it have certain niche demand... just because it is unique and not too common ...other phones that falls into this class are like motorola v80 and upcoming razr V3 (which has similar platform to V600) .. they r much more expensive yet doesnt have any distinctive function from their predessors... but still have demand... thats y i m sure a unique design like s700 will not be a loss or failure to SE... gadget freaks and SE loyal customer from esato such as myself will most probably go for it... and i am so so so looking forward to it

I agree wif scotsboyuk,don't rush for the phone after it just released..may be the phone have some bugs..looks how is the phone perform then only buy.... in my opinion s700 will be less problems than k7 since se should had learn the lesson of k7 problems

Only 128MB of expansion in a phone than takes megapixel shots and plays mp3´s and videos
No HTML browsing
No fullscreen videos
I wanted to buy one, now i'm looking to get my T39 fixed somehow (it developed the "No Network" condition and the SE service wanted €240 to fix it.
