The problem is the P910i's battery is about 1200mAh which is tiny for what this phone does. Running apps takes battery, and internet use _really_ drains the battery. I constantly hop on the net from my phone and surf the web or use IM and run the battery done. The other thing that happens occasionally is I accidently hit the camera button and the camera uses a ton of power.
If I lock the phone and don't use internet or camera, the battery lasts a couple of days easily. Even 3 sometimes.

Scanned the first 3 posts, but cannot be bothered reading the remainder. On the 910 i get 4 to 4.5 hrs continuous download via opera....Or 2 to 2.25 days use based upon 20 to 30 min of wap usage,10 to 20 sms per day,and 30min to 1hr of call per day. This message was posted from a Nokia

The stand-by time is made up with the sim card off the phone. The phone is only powered up and stays on as much as the specs say. You may try it. This message was posted from a T68i

Im guessing you mean upDate to P910 firmware?
yes, it does extend and improve the battery life, well it does for me.
My P900 battery lasts much longer than before. Adjusting the brightness level really helps!!

tried all the above, software update helped a bit and so did moaning at the shop till I got another battery. But it still is quite bad that SE claim these figures that just arent achievable! I would expect to get at least close to their figures through normal usage!
Can you get a larger/extended life battery for it does anyone know?

its hacked firmware and it updates your P900 to a P905!
updating improves your P900 tenfold, by giving you extended battery life, brightness adjustment, PRO duo card support, better audio and video player, better internet browser, quick office, pdf+, bluetooth enhancements etcc...
Basically everything a P910 has!...except for the keyboard and extra memory which is why its called a P905 after you update

I understand that there is an update from p900 to p905... does the p910 have an update that enhances its battery life?

thanks
