I guess there's no point arguing or comparing then since even the word "different" is relative to different people in differents walks of life.

The basic idea we are debating here is whether or not SE has 'lost it', but we are failing to take into consideration a few very simple, but very important, points.
SE isn't losing money.
SE's sales aren't falling.
The majority of SE's customers (using Esato as a source) seem very happy with its products.
Similar models are perhaps a reaction to the current market, in which competition is very fierce and SE might have felt that it was important to release a few more models as quickly as possible, even if that meant that some models were similar.
Perhaps a better question would be to ask that if SE are not losing it, does that mean that othe rmanufacturers, especially Nokia, are not doing enough to challenge SE?

I don't think SE has 'lost it', now the mobile phones offer is so wide that a manufacturer has to select where to aim its production, this way SE can maximize production and marketing based on the market spot selected.

I think that SE not even “lost it” but has a new born. Latest models like P900 (P910). S700, V800 shows the highest level of the most important things: - Quality, Design and Technology. And moreover it is really Japanese phones (starting from S700). I think some great companies like Nokia and Siemens will fall soon, especially Nokia, as for me I think they doomed. But SE, will stay…

Actually, I’m one hundred presents seriously. Nowadays Nokia has nothing, bad displays, awfully bad low budget plastic design (same for all models), software bugs.

SE should've done alot, but i gues they didn't. but who's to blaim for all of that? SE just got a new CEO by now he'll be familiar to the company and can move it the direction he wants. the questions is more what direction does Miles Flint want?
all that we can do is wait for the next introduction of new phones and hope that SE hasn't really lost it.
WE can also like i've said many times before keep our hopes up, believe in SE and promote them. go to the other more global brand forums and spread the word. we know that SE has got the power, connectivity, relaebility (or how do you wright that word), performence, inovation and so much more.
to be honest i myself am losing more and more faith in SE, ever since the introduced the K700. but i still have hope, hope for some good new powerfull phones

Well said bart, the s apart should let more playground for the e apart. They work together, that ok, but let the experts to do and manage those things, where they have experiences and the newcomers should support them at the fun features knowledge.
