The K700i is brilliant, no doubt.
It would be nice to have more memory but we will have to save the Simpsons episodes for another device (the light keeps going out and no ffwd/rwd or pause really sucks)

Anyway, my question....
looking through the text labels in the service menu, it mentions the memory stick quiet a lot. Could this suggest it is a future accessory?

Well, under the batt case, there certainly seems to be a metal plate, which looks like a mem card slot scrapped at the last minute. This message was posted from a K500

As mobiles are given ever more features I suppose it is quite sensible to expect more memory, but I think 41 MB is quite sufficient for the K700. The K700 isn't designed as a dedicated mp3 or video player, it is still primarily a phone.

...and certainly 41mb is a HUGE step up from the 2mb of the T630, T610 and Z600... but then, when is enough... enough anyway? I have 3gb in my iPAQ now and am already looking for more!

3 GB and looking for MORE . . . man really never gets contented! My 41 MB in my K700i then was not USED at all, only 30 MB, as I was getting the feeling that it MIGHT hang when FULLY utilised !

I try to make sure that I move any pics I take with my K700i to my PC when I can as I've noticed a few very old photos have started slowly to corrupt.
I don't even check how much memory I have left as I've never needed to.

Remember people I believe

K700 = 32mb
K700i = 42mb

If I understand it correctly there is no phone labled k700. k700 is only a overgrasping name for the phone. The phones sold are labled either k700i (international) or k700c (chinese).

Not as with the t68 and t68i. Back then there was a phone sold labled t68 and one later called t68i.

At least that's what I know?
