Lucky you, and you manage to grasp at that S710 (US version). Good choice! What I just made notice of those units being sold here in 2nd hand cellshops is that the silver-colored coating FADES too fast due to scratches and all
I am very sure that it will cost a fortune (cookie) buying a new original cover mate

How about a Mega Bass feature at V800 Media Player? Is it good? I envy you all V800 owners. Being a long time Sony music media user Mega Bass is one of my favorite feature.
I wonder if they will implement it in next f/w upgrade at S700. It seems unlikely.

How does everybody find the screen scratch wise? Having the screen with no protection do you find that it scratches alot easier!?

i find the Z800 to be a hell of a sexy phone !!!
i prefer theZ over the S . coz it's SE & coz it supports pro duo's ...
it is more comfotable ... to use the clamshell design ... coz the S's swivel design is only 180' ...... it whould have been nice if it was 360' ..
the s's camera is greeeeat ! also the Z's coz i have tried the video call fro my mobile to a msn messanger at my friend's it's awsome !!!!!!!!!

Anyone familiar with Sony Music player must have known about this feature. Some advance Sony music players have Mega Bass that has 3 or 4 bass power level.
Not all Sonys has Mega Bass though. As usual Sony create many segmentation of its product by substracting various features on the same full-featured model.
You will find Mega Bass option in equalizer at Z800 Media Player. I think its an integral part of newer version of SE's Media Player.
@ns04 : S700 screen is scratch proof. I experiencing it myself. But some precaution still apply. Read previous threads about this.
