Another odd bug noted:

If you have FrontView running, in screensaver/large clock mode and you happen to receive a text message. You will see the standard screen that says: "You have recieved a new message." Options to "Read" or "Cancel"

Here's the glitch.. if you choose to "Read" the message.. the internal message program opens the new message and before you get a chance to read it, say 1second or less, FrontView kicks back out to the screensaver mode.

I may read fast.. but not THAT fast... so naturally you have to go back in to messages to read the message..this time at your leisure.

Anyone able to confirm this?
(Running P910i w/ R3A04)

Yes, I can confirm this. Same problem same firmware. Very annoying.

I've got a p800 and it doesnt work properly.
Same problems: No Indicators, Area or Status screens; i just get a grayed screen.

The stats bar is updating correctly but i have no top bar (battery, signal, alarm, bluetooth, etc). Also i can't set the background picture, it has got a default picture of a bee on a flower.

Ive tried the program on a p900 and works great, and its weird cause the p900 has prompted me to enter a location name (after some time at home), and my p800 hasnt yet (Under the operator name it says UNIVERSE, and in the p900 it used to say SPAIN).

Im willing to be a beta tester if needed. Just pm me.

i agree with the rest of the people; i think that there should be an option to use the shortcuts.
Im not gonna complain about the clock format cause i like it like that , but an option to switch would be interesting.

The conclusion is that i love this app (well, what it is going to be ) and it will be worth paying for. keep on doing like that

I like what the program is trying to do, but I have the following issues with it:
1) The idea of a single key lock/unlock is ridiculous. The whole reason you want a automatic lock is to stop accidental key presses when you put it in you pocket (or holder in my case). A single key unlock almost guarantees that it will turn itself on when you don't want it. (even pressing the same key twice is just as bad.)
2) FrontView effectively disables the jog-dial. It is probably the best feature of the phone controls and it is reduced to just a couple of actions.
3) It needs another program to start it up when you turn on the phone. Not a huge issue as programs like sman can do so, but it would be preferable to be a configuration option inside the program itself.
4) You can no longer see the Cell ID in flip closed mode. Not a big issue but since I use Magic Profiles I like to know the ID at times.
5) Frontview appears full screen when you open the flip. There little reason why you would want that on a regular basis. Programs like Key Mapper will allow you to start another program on flip open but I seem to recall that you can't get it to run the Application List which is the thing that I am most likely to want.
6) If you wait till the phone goes in to full power down on the screen (power consevation), the normal key lock seems to take over again, so the jog dial unlock function works again, but then you have press the "#" key to turn off FrontViews key lock. I supose if you are using FrontView's keylock you would turn off the inbuilt keylock, so this is probably not a big issue.
- Also, If you wait till the phone goes in to full power down on the screen (power consevation), pressing the "#" key does not disable the FrontView screensaver. You 'have to' press "OK" then "*" or use the Jog dial. However, using the jog dial truns the backlight on so you can see the instructions, but pressing "OK" does not turn the backlight on.
7) if you bring up the Menu, choose the call list. Frontview suspends itself and does not come back until you open and close the flip. (if you run other apps like the music play, FrontView returns)
8) Getting to the address book is now positively painful. Bring up the menu, select Applications, select Contacts. This is the one thing that I use most in flip closed mode and it is now very slow to get to. (especially now that jog dial is useless.)

Some minor thoughts/anoyances:
a) I am not fond of the way the screen flashes when you close the flip.
b) why change the default behavour of the "Ok" button bringing up the call list?

I am happy to be told that any or all of the above is incorrect, and I am sure that different people have different ideas on what are their most used apps etc.

You might think from this that I dislike the app. That is not the case. I like the concept, but it needs work before I would be interested in buying it.
