Thanks, Nature. Is the 1100 really easy to use? Are SMS easy to read? My mum is really technophobic. This message was posted from a T68i

have you used an 8210? because it is an 8210 basically!
the two biggest differences are the torch and snake 2 instead of 1.
obviously there are minor software changes but nothing drastic.
i havent tried texting to/ from it yet, ill try after i finish work and let you know, but im assuming itll be the same as the 8210.

:-)
3210 then?
everyone used them!
the 1100 calls and texts. thats it!
the most advanced thing on this phone is the flashlight! otherwise we might as well be back in 1998!

i think the biggest problem your mum will have will be the same as mine, learning how to store and recieve numbers.

i cant wait for my mum to put the phone face down on the table after a call and expect it to hang up!

This one will be suitable for your mum and I think she'll like the shape and size (Sony Ericsson Z200):

Or one of these two new release of low-end phones from Sony Ericsson (T290i and J200i):

i never seen the point of trading a phone in for just a tenner. even the oldest, crapest phone can be got rid of in the pub for 20!
