I think the bugs issue of the K700 has been tremendously hyped. We all gotta admit this. The K700 was one of the best productS to have come from SE. This message was posted from a T230

@aus_online

Do you have insurance/warranty on your phone? If so, you could "lose" it and make them replace it with a different phone.. (here in the states people do that all the time)

I've owned Nokia, SE and Samsung phones over the years and have always been quite happy with SE. I got the P800 when it first came out and only now have upgraded to a P910i. Not because the P800 was faulty in any way, I just wanted the updated OS and key pad.

I've never really been happy with Nokia phones, they always seemed to have poor call quality and their UI was hokey. Not that I'm a huge fan of SE's UI but its better..

Samsung phones are Pieces of cr@p.

@Vanquish Well it looks like SE might have heard your plea. :-D Some new phones will be with us soon. Have you got your eye on any?
I am looking forward to a nice unbranded Z800.

@JN
The difference is that Nokia's releases are like cluster bombing a beer can to open it, 's are more like a precision strike.

I don't take much notice of other manufacture's releases, unless it's something really spectacular.

One of the things i like with SE is the timing of their handset release. It's what you call, "don't launch it if you're not sure you're going to hit baby"

SE makes sure that they have the competitive advantage for their handsets, or not compete at all.
