Fingers, that is the Duo... look closely at the name printed on it.
Re: Memstick, I can't use a regular memstick on devices using the Duo, but I can use the Duo on devices that use a regular memstick... You can't do that either way with MMC and SD.
They may be "open" standards, but the fact that there are TWO, doesn't make them "standard". The fact that different devices use them differently makes them very incosistent. The SD Bluetooth card of Palm will only work with Palm devices... not SD devices. That's weird, don't you think?

With regards to the "standards" MMC and SD, how about CF (Compact Flash). Most digital cameras use CF-cards and they are far more cheaper than MMC/SD/MS/MSDuo.
It is just stupid to talk about MMC and SD as an standard, a standard is something like a CD. A CD can be played in a whole lot of devices and has almost no alternatives. With memorycards you have four alternatives, not four standards!

The P800 with a small screen and brick design or just buying the new IPAQ with a better screen and long lasting battery, that you could use your T68i with?
Personally I feel like going for the IPAQ since software will be much easier to retrieve than the P800.
As for that Sony Ericsson concept phone, I wish they’d release that than the P800, it looks so nice

I have iPaq 3870 & T68i now, I use it daily, it is comfortable and good solution.
But i will bought P800 when availeble, becouse when like to have access to my e-mail, calendar ... and possibility to easy type data (not by T9 in small keybord, tahts why not n7650) in conform way everewhere I am, and I am not taking my iPaq for example to pubs.
I will still continue using iPaq with P800 together.

I'd rather have a P800, and a laptop... The p800 has better res than all Palms (except of course Sony's), and almost as good as the PPCs. I'd rather do without the PDA in the picture... or do without the mobile phone. So it's either a P800, or an iPaq with the tri-band GPRS expansion pack...and a laptop w/ portable printer and Bluetooth.

VNC Client
MSN Messanger (or something equal)
VPN (IPsec)
iSilo or something for reading e-books in palm formats
After I will have this software for P800, I can stop using my iPaq.

Hi, this feature is important to me and I am looking for a way to validate this. I attend seminars, conventions, meetings where I simply want to bring with me one device. I also carry business funnels and talk to sales groups. I want it all in one device.
The O2 device and other such formats is simply too big for me.
I also agree with some of you that if SE will come out with a camera-less version of this, that would be preferable.
I was supposed to buy an iPAQ last year working for Compaq, it appeared a natural choice. But then I also wanted phone functionality. That's when I discovered Symbian and smartphones. I waited for the Ericsson R380e last year but got cancelled and so decided to purchase a Nokia 9210. Not bad pre-P800.
I got used to editing/creating Word and Sheet files. Not much of the multimedia -audio and video. And for lack of network at home between my Armada and my Presario, I installed the Nokia connectivity software in both computers, and use my 9210 to transfer files across
My family is all Ericsson phone fan -from S868, T28s, to A3618. Mine could have been R380e. But the P800 would probably doubly more expensive than the R380e which could be converted to horizontal format. The games I saw on the P800 images where in horizontal format. I wonder if other apps could do the same.
I also investigated the Treo 270 format because of the keyboard for document production. But it's got less features compared to the SE P800. I even discussed with Treo folks in their forums the level of productivity with thumb keyboard versus virtual keyboards. Kyocera came out with a phone keypad + graffiti. I thought who would type docs using phone keypads?
I am glad I found this web site for I have been scouring the net for 4 weeks looking for meaningful discussion of this phone. There was a Yahoo forum but not much activity there. I posted some questions at Ericsson forums, no one seems to be reading there.
And, yeah, I would have wanted SE to have created a silver edition for the phone to make it more "professional" looking rather than a toy.
Ok, enough rambling. I just wanted to validate Anil Raj statements that documents can actually be edited. If there were Bluetooth keyboard with a horizontal screen, that would be like 9210!
