yeah css-25 is the same as dss-25 but with the inclusion of a speaker and a microphone for use as a handfree

The CSS25 is not the same as the DSS25 as it doesnt have a data cable built in and cannot be used for the :se online update service. As stated, it must be a DSS20 ir DSS25 and nothing else will work.

I had that message the first time! I then re-did the whole process and it finished correctly.

Nope, but the Language Settings now only have "Automatic" and "English", and the Wiazrd now asks if it should import contacts from the SIM Card

i bought my S700i last week from vodafone, but im not sure if it is already upgraded, because it unlocks when you svielel it open and has a quick veiw finder (i think).
How do i check if it is upgraded?

the joke is, that you will probably have in the phone only English language now...after upgdrade....I had the same, then I did Master Reset and it came with full language offer again....
