k700 can only play pcm wavs but not a wav encapsulated mp3 for example, from what I understand. Since no-one is going to use uncompressed wavs as music files with only 40MB storage, the 16mhz limit makes sense I suppose.
@JN, my K700i original firmware is crap, yet I still enjoy using the phone to it's full ability. When I bother to upgrade I won't look back, but even if I couldn't upgrade I still wouldn't regret buying the phone.
For the same reason, I think the S700i is an excellent phone, all things considered.

As i can use my old t610 to send my themes it has nothing to do with not being a 3G and it has nothing to do with my operator either!
@turboy Your solutition would have been nice but it won't work on my S700 either..

Most themes for older phones were under 100KB, the K700i started the trend to large files with animations etc.

My operator in Sweden doesn't have an 100kb limit and i can send an S700 theme using my old T610, So it is just a VERY, VERY stupid limitation in the S700 firmware, nothing else!

If that's not it, then maybe someone who has a S700i could verify if they can send large themes or not (providing they know if their operator has no limit). So far no other S700 owner has said "I can do it".
