> K750 Compared to SPH-V7800 5.2 megapixels
Bookmark topic
Ah but you see, the S700i has fixed focus, whereas the K750 can focus on parts of the image which the S700i cannot.
The picture of the keys taken with the S700i had to focus on the whole image, because it has fixed focus.
The K750 not only has a proper macro function, but auto focus which will concentrate on what is in the centre of the image.
Its not that the K750 could not focus on the whole picture, its that the K750 has the option not to do so. The S700i does not have that option.
If you wanted to, you could take a picture of those keys with the K750 and focus on the whole image, just like the S700i
has to

Don't think so. But I have seen pictures taken with Samsung SCH-S250 5 MP camera. Hope SPH-V7800 take better pictures than that (otherwise it would be a big disappointment).

Why must they ? do you think Samsung will release this phone on the mass market anytime soon ? i doubt it.
It would be foolish of a company to step up from a 1.3mp cameraphone such as the D500, to 5.2mp.

Well, the SCH-S250 is a CDMA phone and it is very big (143.2g/5.01oz and measures 116mm x 50mm x 31mm/ 4.57" x 1.97" x 1.22"). This isn't exactly a small light candybar phone.
Beside 2-3 MP is enough for normal photo printing. 5 MP and above only makes sense if you intend to print large pictures (i doubt most people do that).
But eventually, 5 MP will sure be "standard". But not this year (and perhaps not next year either).

What i mean is.. i think that sony will bring out something with a good camera maybe not as good as this but smaller.
k750 doesn't quite compete with this but maybe something more which will.
