> HELP ME with my V800

well this is great.
I tried another Main and FS and it reached the end 95% but I received the error message again that kept on looping.
Now I have 0 credits left.
I had 2 and now 0 despite it not have finished.
themarques, it'd be great if yo ushowed up around now to help me. gbrook's been great.

looks like flashing it myself isn't going to work especially since I dont have a T28 cable.
Anyone have any suggestions for me, this phone is BRAND new.
Bought off ebay though.

You should be able to flash even without credits - the only thing you need credits is to finalize.

finalization uploads customize.xml to /tpa/preset/custom/ in the filesystem.
If this is not in the phone - when you power on the phone you will get
"configuration error..........................." and phone is useless until you get it finalized - but you dont need to flash it again.
by the way, method is fine - i really think you should get a charged battery or T28 cable so we can repair it with setool - i have never used davinci in my life so my knowledge with this software is rather poor....

its just that i live in colchester and there are not alot of people here with a V800 let alone a 3g phone.
Looks like I'm going to have to make a trip to London.
Know any places that can do this for me?
for cheap as well :'( Wasted my money on davinci

Are you able to flash the recovery file? If so then after flashing this leave the phone on charge. I promise you all you is a full battery to repair that phone maybe best with T28 cable aswell - Davinci is exactly the same concept as what any service center or anyone in London will do.

if its not turning on then its not charging, you will have to charge it in another phone, i learned this with my k500i.
