W800 and K750 uses exactly same hardware. Flightmode is a hardware feature, which can be enabled and disabled from firmware. For the K750 firmware, this selection option has been hidden although the hardware suports it.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm only asking this because I can get a d750 (T-mobile locked k750i with a w800 look) dirtcheap.

Is the conversion also possible in this situation so I can turn the d750 to a w800 and also lose the T-mobile branding?
