What kind of batt is there in Hedwig? Can you take it off or is that solid with a phone(like in T65)? This message was posted from a T68i

Okay, I made a little operation with my non-working HEDVIG!

Battery of HEDVIG is not made for changing very often, because the cover is closed by four screws.
But you can open HEDVIG and you'll find a BST-14 battery.
3,6V 600mAh

Display and keypad got oled, like T28,T29 but colour is a bit more blue.

So its a kind of bus11. That batt solution seems optimal for that fone. This message was posted from a Nokia

In my opinion, the idea of localizing the screen below the keypad was very clever. Because of the hand's anatomy, there's always an empty space below the keypad : the thumb stands higher than the other fingers when you grab a phone.

Take your T28 or T39 and do the test : turn it upside down and you'll see it's more comfortable to use the keypad that way...

Bravo Ericsson !

I cannot say it's very comfortable to use my T39 that way, because flip opening using one hand becomes a complicated task. Why did they used screws to hold the batt? This message was posted from a T68i

Because nothing other would fix the rontcover to the backcover. Both are completely made of Mg. You can compare a bit with R320 Titan - At this handsets it's also of need to use screws to fix the parts.

Games .... NO games: It's not a kids-phone!

Solitaire and tetris aren't children games ;) . Isn't the producing process of Mg corpse very costly and complicated? Btw how and where did you get your Hedwig proto? This message was posted from a T68i

Indeed. MAybe that's also one thing, why they stoped the development. But, Mg backcover was also used for T28,T29,T39,R520 ...

The working one at ebay.co.uk and my second one (just with test-SW loaded) from a friend (but this one also came from UK).
