if SE still have a way to market it nicely...even Eldar continue to bash...it will not have deep impact to sales.
when T610 was out...everyone Curse its hissing sound here at Esato...then it have a lousy camera if compare to Nokia ....yet its the winner due to nice styling and good marketing.

even for iPHONE,....when the 1st Gen out...its such a crappy product but with proper market...it still get with good volume shipment and of course everything go out of proportion with each nicer update.

again... if the game play well...even if Anzu is expensive...it might be able to ship if the market accept it.

the point is, that things have changed since the introduction of the iphone
companies like nokia and sony ericsson just don't want to realize this fact - they still live on the success of the past. thats also why new companies like HTC and apple are able to gain such a popularity in this amazingly short period.
profit is not (only) generated by the amount of phones you sell. people expect so much more out of their mobile phone then 4 years ago, and they are also willing to pay for this extra experience.

looking in the days of the T610 thats actually where everything started. these days everyone was blown away by the shiny 3G future those large companies predicted and ericsson was a major player in the 3G hype. people expected everything, but what did they get - more megapixels. thats also why people weren't satisfied (at first) with the T610(it didn't even support 3G[well done]). people who have been here for a while know the good old rumors of the P200. the p200 rumors lasted for years - the easy to use smartphone for the youth which has never seen the day light. the 3G hype was nearly forgotten when finally someone gave them what they wanted - the iphone. (the idea of the iphone didn't come from nowhere, people wanted a phone like this desperately - se just didn't listen)

currently the market is spoiled(but thats okay). phones like anzu won't have a long term success, because stuff like this is already out there - probably also with better quality(thats really important these days). you can only win if you have an edge over the competition. sony ericsson is currently only following, but far from leading.
in the near future, i don't see them becoming technological so advanced that people will finally listen. so they need to find themself a niche where they can succeed. the playstation phone is a good idea, but without full support of sony (and the playstation department) its a dead fish in the water.
but for the long term i only see a future, if sony is finally focusing on services. howard stringer talked about it, but we are still waiting for their multimedia cross platform.

see this is how a top notch company does stuff. how long has rumours for the dula core LG phone been around? and now look we are getting a release of the actual phone so soon!

this is where fails. they take way too long! how long have anzu and psphone rumours be going on? first its feb release, then march release now april release. come on seriously. by that time there would be waaay more advanced tech out, i fear is shooting itself in the foot. you get bet your life savings HTC/motorola/samsung will be getting dual core, 1080p recording phones out before

Last time I checked this was a thread about Sony Ericsson's 2011 portfolio and also about rumors about phones.
If you want to discuss rumors about LG phones then go to your nearest LG forum and discuss that there, not in here. If there isn't one then feel free to create one.

I find it very amusing how people complain about the leaks all the time.
If there are no leaks, people complain about that. If there are leaks, people still complain because (...wait for it) the phone was leaked before the announcement and (...wait for it) some other manufacturer is working on phones with similar specs.
