Hi Everybody!

Have this topic addressed what the /// really mean? The internal slang at Ericsson is "tre korvar", ie three sausages.

A story I have heard from a former Ericsson executive is that when 'Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson' decided they need a new name, the went to a high class profiling agency in London, and after using an enormous sum of money they came out with simply 'Ericsson' and the ///. No one could really explain what the /// meant, but in a park outside this agency there was a public urinal made of cast iron, and for ventilation there the openings formed as ///. This has probably inspired the logo.

1 more thing in case r520. Do like d keypad, meaning here d placing of d buttons. D arrow buttons r more comfortable as at 320, as i c it. D extra button 4 d voice recorder is well placed also. D option button was a revolutionary idea of /// , nice 2 c d later development of it in t65 and t68. This message was posted from a R520
