N95 was far from being a flop, and its specs were certainly superior to P1

N95 had GPS/accelerometer/A2DP/stereo speakers/S60 v3 (i.e. NOT UIQ!) /5megapix carl zeiss camera/16M colour screen...

I could go on but there's more than enough there that N95 had over the P1

Funny how the last SE phone I bought was/is the last one that had soul and not just a shell with SE on it like all the new SE phones have become. The P1i is their last true great smartphone and I am still in love with it to this day, the fact that it is still my primary phone says a lot about it. The other phones with the SE soul were the T610i, T68i, K700i, K750i, K800i, K850i, W800, W810i, C905i, P-series line-up.

Don't forget about the S700i (respectively W550i/W900i) . And with deductions the W902 and W995 .

Oh my word!

How do I forget the mighty W900i? Gosh, that was one hell of a phone and its follow up, the S700i was very good as well.

Yes, the W995, as you point out, with deductions could be included in there.

I am not sure I'd include the W902i.

"We got an interesting tip from one of our readers, about the upcoming Sony Ericsson flagship. The handset, which he refers to as Sony Ericsson Arc HD (though the final name will probably be different) is said to come with a 720p screen (that’s 1280 x 720 pixels) and support FullHD video recording. This is new.

"A pretty cool feature of the Sony Ericsson (or just Sony, if the deal goes through before the announcement) Xperia Arc HD will be the option to capture full-res still shots while recording video. That would allow you to capture the most interesting moments of your videos in full resolution without interrupting the videos themselves. "
