You're saying it's the same mistakes again, but realistically you cannot judge anything yet as they havent had the official announcement and price information.
Sony Ericsson certainly have learned a lot from their mistakes. One example is not taking WP7 on board

.

You see.... I'm sure not taking WP7 is a big mistake. This is fantastic OS. They would gain alot.
However the fact that SE will not release WP7 is not 100% sure....
I see a company which can't get the spot on.
When they make a great product, successor is often problematic.
They have problem with support and continuity of their development.
Devices are often using older software.
And the leaks are not so impressive. Just my opinion.
Yes I take things with the grain of salt.
But again I am totally sure they make a mistake with WP7 IF IT'S TRUE.
Actually all the competitors do it exept Motorola.

As my dear friend
sunrise from
BlogSE.pl mentioned, Hallon will actually be a Vivaz successor with Android Gingerbread and a Qualcomm MSM7230 processor.

I'm not sure why anything more than 1GHz+ is required on a smartphone, except to boast about on tech blogs.
Why would 1ghz be enough then, especially if we are talking about high-end phones? The features that the phones are getting nowadays and will be getting in the future are very advanced such as FullHD video recording and playback, Flash 10.1, LTE, 3D screen and applications, etc. Faster CPU clocks make it easier for manufacturer to produce powerful phones and make the features I mentioned work flawless. Of course together with a stable software.

No need to defend

for no reason. Let's face the facts. LG Optimus 2x is out next month with dual core Tegra2 and Full HD 1080p video encode and decode.
There is no NEED for CPU more than 800 mhz ??????? Are you kiddin me??????????
It isn't all about showing off or boasting on tech blogs. Do you not feel that smartphones today can do much more than what phone could do a few years back ? Are you saying you don't want the technology to move forward ?
Anyways back to the topic, the fact is 2011 will be the year of DUAL CORE smartphones. And

will not be left behind.
