@bart its not the battery, its the fw. if i would flash it with r2b, would work again perfect, but then i loose tetris, game etc. those games make this model so rare. This message was posted from a Nokia

breaking the code of R2B for implementing Tetris again isn't as simple as the thing we plan to do with wakaba.

I would prefer a different solution:
Read out the whole firmware R1A (for example with Cruiser) and store it at a safe place.
Then update the T68 with R2A or newer for good performance and everytime you want to think about good old days you can rewrite the R1A back.
BTW.: I'd also be interested for my own purposes to have a R1A-SW on my HD or on a CD!

@boba: Don't know if the parcel is out to me, but hink about it. I can make it the described way and send you back T68 with R2A013 or R2B013 or R2D005 and your actual firmware on CD for reusing it again later.

And something new about R380. Now i really know its fw is written on C. Files were situated on .\iar-avr\inc\...(.\iar-avr\inc\ph_init.c, for example)

There's a great debug info in fw files, it can be viewed on phone as seen from this string:"%s CheckIfDivertedToVoiceMail called."

R380 could have an Synchronize feature (as T39) as seen from this message:"CreateNetworkBookObj failed in net_bk,c line %i! AF:%s:%d"

Those are: AT Commands that R380 recognize and some interesting string constants, that are used to create messages and which tell us that R380 should have many more features than it now has. Like stopwatch, synchronization and sim toolkit.
Where do you think those fw source files are situated? In semc or somewhere in ericsson?

I received a T68m this morning in Ziroccan Gold. It has R1C firmware on it and was made in malaysia. The mic doesnt seem to work and the reception is really poor but I will try to fix that. I will post pics later.
