i jus upgraded to the R1N and the memory stick dissapears what do i do????????????

Try a master reset. Thats seems to work for most people.
Be happy. At least u got ur phone updated.
Im stuck with a half updated phone.

I was stuck with a half upgraded fone until I took it to a SE service centre... but i guess tahts a problem for you? bummer..

Has anyone tried downgrading their w800's to R1L002 using those files? I had the also the same problem that the flashing stopped at 44% and gave me the "communication error" -message. I sent my phone to nearest SE service and I got my phone back yesterday with R1N035. It's working now, but I also have that annoying MS Duo -corruption and all the other bugs and I would really like to downgrade to R1L002. I'm just afraid that it doesn't go all the way just like before and I have to send my phone to SE service again.

Thanks for this but i think i need some kind of flashing device for these files? Does anyone have the URL:File Protocol files so that i can use seus?
I'm guessing here but i think they will be named something like this -
HL1_125952-EU1-MR2_000000_0000_R1L002 and
HL1_125952-EMEA3-MR2-B_000000_0000_R1L002
If you've ever updated to the R1L002 firmware via seus they will be located in this directory -
C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\software-data
