drfell! BT will replace IrDA. I have handmade (by myself) IR-port for PC and it's very slow =( I hope BT much more faster!

Hello all. I tried my alarm motion snooze today on my standard R520 as my proto does not have this feature. My standard has R2G software and as with others here it sounds the alarm for about 3 seconds and then switches of and asks if I want to switch of alarm. Tried BT on my proto today. It found my Jabra BT headset but that was all no sound through headset when a number was dialed it was just on the phone so will have to experiment further with this feature. This is just a thought but how about setting up a R520 club, we could have features pictures info and more. Anyone interested in this lets start a thread to see if it is worth doing. One main rule should be that it is only for people interested in this brilliant phone whether they own one or are just a fan of it, we do not want anyone to be in chrge of this just everybody helping everyone else with facts and info. So lets see a show of handfs for all those interested. OHH and drfell I spoke with the man with your proto today, He will keep the phone and is trying to locate the proper tool for changing the cover to a cooper one for you and this is at no extra charge as I am putting some buissines his way but he wants to know if he can not get the tool to do the job properly then are you interested in the proto with its silver cover. I made it clear that we do not want any damage done to these phones so only a proper job is wanted. He is getting a delivery of more R520's next week but he does not know if there are any copper or prototype ones in them.

drfell the cover that is on the phone now is it's original Silver one but you said you would like a copper one as far as I am aware the silver one is in excellent condition but the phone is a prototype and he was going to find out what software version and build date for it. Do you want the cover swaped if he can.
