Need your help. ECS opens COM port in exclusive mode, so RS232MCM prog can't listen to that port. Any ideas on how to make a log of ECS and R380 conversation? Maybe some kind of spyware program?
Is that the hinge you asked about?
I browsed all the sw with Restorator and found the ECS developers group photo.
The second phase of my investigation will be the browsing of all binaries with Depends prog to view functions they're exporting.

@Boba Now we are trying to monitor conversation between ECS (Communication Suite) and R380 to understand how to get to the R380 File System. Then i will write some kind of filemanager for R380. I think it will take 1-2 years. Optimistically, don't you think:-D. Hope @Tigerente will help me.

@Boba You might think i'm insane, but i want R380 to understand HPM-10 as a flash drive to increase its memory capacity for new apps and docs(i.e. I want it to became real communicator not the simple PDA). How ericsson could say that R380 is the smartphone with open-source OS??? BTW how is your project?

You'd rather ask @Tiger about that, he knows much more than all of us. As i thought, the best way to add extra mem to R380 is to teach it to work with HPM-10 like with an external flash disk. But if we don't crack that OS, increasing of mem will have no sence. I knew only one man, who cracked it(he was reading the books, saved on Z: disk, through WAP browser), but i can't contact him.
