the only way to add more memory is either do as kothor is trying to do, or do some serious cleaning throughout the filesystem in the R380...
that reminds me, have to take my R380 to work for a "makeover"

@Cytech What experiments have you done with your R380? And one more question: Maybe you have ER5 C++ SDK?

haven't done much with it except changing cover (it's a R380s from the beginning) and upgrading it to R380e firmware... I hardly use it anymore, mostly cause of the size and the lack of functions...
don't have the SDK

As far as I could get informations about it, the ER5 SDKs are now in the netPad, rather than netBook, area of the Teklogix site.
http://www.psionteklogix.com/[....]/netpad-pdk/epoc_downloads.htm
There you'll get the newest downloads: netpad EPOC SDK v2.30
Symbian OS V5 C++ SDK Last change: V2.30 | 15/04/02 94 Mb
Symbian OS V5 SDK for Java ™ Last change: V2.30 | 15/04/02 16.5 Mb
Symbian OS V5 OPL SDK Last change: V2.30 | 15/04/02 26.4 Mb
Symbian Connectivity V5 SDK Last change: V2.30 | 15/04/02 3845k
netpad SDK Last change: V2.30 | 19/12/02 113 Mb
and also in the OS archive
netpad EPOC SDK v2.0
Symbian OS V5 C++ SDK Date Released : 16/10/01 158806k
But I'm in contact with PSION Teklogix for further informations about it.
BTW: Have you contacted these guys?
http://www.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/psion/emulator32.html
I think this will be helpfull.

If you are Linux user, also some ER5 SDKs are available at
http://gnupoc.sourceforge.net/
BTW.: There's also a QUARTZ SDK
And what about this threat:
http://forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=16:7510
Do you know it? I can't understand it, but it seems that they are talking about the filestrukture and some EPOC SDKs for R380s.
for example on page 7

@Boba
not really, but have seen some protos of all kind of existing Ericsson models.. I actually had a prototype model of R380s for a few years ago, but unfortunately it didn't work
@Tigerente
You can translate the text with

Some more questions:
1) How much time R380 backup/restore takes?
2) Can somebody make test backup and send it to me (my backup doesn't seem to work).
backup has taken at my R380world ~ 2 minutes with USB2serial cable.
The complete conversation of the EPMworker and the R380world while connecting and backuping an be read in plaintext here:
http://www.erimail.info/r380-console.htm
and the backup is here

Quite interesting!

You mean why there are so few T65 made in Sweden? probably different reasons... Ericsson/Flextronics closed down their manufacturing units in Sweden and moved the production to countries with cheaper production costs, and it was also at that time when

was formed...
