The HTC ville will launch at MWC and will run on the 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 (Krait) dual core processor. Perhaps we'll see the same in Nozomi?

Don't hold your breath.

Also I heard that next year sony will came on market with only 3 new phones only.

Oh come on, only devices in development has to be 3 or even more... we may suggest couple of devices in H1 2012 and I`m sure there will be another bunch of devices in H2 2012 developed by Sony in house.

Sony's CEO is ready to launch a four-screen platform

Sony's ability to pull its four screens (phones, tablets, PCs, TVs) together with network services like Video Unlimited and Music Unlimited .
Sony has finally begun to acknowledge its weaknesses in software and providing a uniform user experience, we'll probably find out more about how it plans to turn that around at CES 2012 in January.

CES is going to be one hell of an event this time around, I can't wait.

So it sounds like there will be at least 5 devices from Sony / Sony Ericsson this year with no low-end entries?

Nope, so far, it seems that the prices for the new devices are evenly spread. On the top of the chain, its nozomi and aoba

What of SE is Sony doing away with?

We know the logo is staying put until the transition is completed around next late next year. What about the Xperia trade name and the Timescape UI?

Would be interesting to find out where they stand on those.

So is Nozomi the natural successor to Arc and Aoba to Neo?

Going on the names alone I'd have put them the other way around (Arc => Aoba and Nozomi => Neo).

I'd like to see Sony keep the Xperia name for their mobile division, but I wouldn't bet on it, I would guess we can expect an entire rewrite with somethings going sooner than others.

The SE UK facebook page currently have someone answering questions, could be an opportunity to ask about the transition, or any phone issues you have

I thought of asking but then realised that I will not get the answers to my questions. I am not going to enquire about a 'dead' SE but looking for answers regarding the future.

She'll most probably tell me to wait for next year.

This is good for those who are still needing info on SE.
