I am NOT suprised, I know, they hav been bangin' our arses NOkia style in order to get a profit this year. That sucks ! The reason I bought a Sony Ericsson was because I wanted to get away from da crap NOkia was pulling off. They were value for money. Now the only reason I wud buy a
phone is because of technology. They are the market leader in terms of tech altho I don't quite like their designs. But I am gonna wait a bout 3~4 months before buyin' one. Here In malaysia, the T300 was about $345 when it was released then comes along the T310 just 2~3 months later at a price of $262 !! That freakin' pissed me off !! IT WAS CHEAPER !! WTF ?!?! They get Tony hawk and 32 channel poly for a cheaper price !! At least giv us a FW upgrade with Tony hawk for friggin sake! Actually the T310 FW shud work on our phones, but NO, they won't let us do that or they will take away our warranty! How unfair ! With that FW, we will also get 32 channel poly. Wot the fook does
think they are doing !!??!!? Well, it's marketing and its up to them
... Now they are gonna pi*s off the p800 owners as well .. but hey, at least theirs are a year old already and they will still get FW updates
We don't even get FW updates anymore, it is like they have abandoned the T300 project !

Yeah, it is a good phone ... better than most phones out there
But like MaThIbUs said, its still shitty wot they did to us ! Oh well, I've learnt ma lesson, the next time the Z600 or the P810 comes out I'm givin it a few months for the price to drop in order to reduce the blow if
shud decidce to release a NOkia style replacement

yeah Sanjeev... that's business. And at the speed ppl are changing phones nowadays... it might simply not be worth it to invest to much in models that are 'older'. There comes a time they'll be 'retired' so to speak.
And in any case, I too will look for an upgrade within 6 to 9 months. Not because this phone is not good anymore, but simply because my wishlist for features has expanded rather fast over the past half year. I expect i'm not alone in that... and that is of course what
is trying to accomplish

If wap is free depends very much on your contract. For me for sure it's not free, but there are ppl that have a certain amount of free waptime per month.

Use gprs since june coz they reduced the tariffs by half. GSM (data call) is really painfully steep for me yeah. It;s better on newer contracts I hear....
will need to start rethinking my new bundle, this one ends at the end of the year.
