orange and voda menus are the worst. o2 is the best as there is probably just an o2 icon on one of the wap links
are the o2 ones unlocked? and is it easy to de-brand the phone using? can far and xs++ be used or is it best to use Wotan?

I couldn't tell you about the PAYG phones, but all o2 phones on contract are unlocked.

BUT I WANNA I WANNA I WANNA.... GRRRRRR... Those orange icons are so damn ugly. And the homescreen thing... does the Activity Menu have tabs on top? Cuz the homescreen doesn't. Can I set it to have tabs?
One more thing, if I do debrand it, can I restore the original orange_gen software? (Romania) Something might happen to the phone, for example the joystick may break down, and in that case I want to restore the orange firmware when I return it. (If it DOES break down)

The Activity Menu HAS tabs on top, it makes is much easier to handle... but orange removed the tabs... no idea why... and we can't enable tabs

Yep, the orange branded software can be restored.
So I debranded it. All thanks to hyperion1707
Here's my beauty:
Observations:
* When moving shortcuts in the orange software, sometimes it was lagging very much. Now with the original SE software, it doesn't lag. And I like the tabs on top :]
* The battery seems to last longer with the original SE software... interesting...
* The original SE icons are just so damn sexy compared to those ugly orange icons.
* PhotoMate is included here, I like that little app.

Does the unbranding get rid of the internet key. The small one on the left whic I am forever catching? I thought one of the firmware updates was supposed to forse you to press they key for a couple of secconds so would the unbranding set this up?
If I unbrand but then want to rebrand where do I get the Orange branding from?
