is taking its place. but I'm sure that Moto will come up with something revolutionary in the design area, as they've been doing it lately.
They have. The RAZR style slider will be out soon

Announced today.. Wow, look at those amazing specs.
Admittedly, they do look quite nice - but they've got VGA camera phones in their new portfolio. Even for a low-end phone, 1 megapixel isn't beyond them is it?
When are the PROPER new phones, rather than phones with RAZR like names (that are getting about as overdone as FCUK).

I think, i think the VGA camera is the video camera on the front.

SE software and Moto design, that would be a killer combo.

mmhmm, what's up Moto. They look too much just like RAZRs with a makeup... actually, that's what they are... not so revolutionary after all...

look at new slim family for motorola
it just seem they still manage to get some life from slim line.
i wont say they might have great UI or features etc....but from the look alone...it already showing it can be a potential hit.
Samsung and LG is a strong market leader in CDMA market
so i am not suprise SE is actually having very small market share different with Samsung once we ignore the market share for CDMA as SE only have a small portion of it which is to produce phone for Japan KDDI market while they have stop supplying any CDMA phone to any operator outside japan.
For sure SE is the no4 maker in GSM market since LG is having a huge volume in CDMA shipment.

@QVGA
Actually the recently announced W372 from Motorola has a VGA camera.
@jmcomms
I don't that by saying that because they still have VGA cameras, that they are a bad product. All manufacturers, including SE, have VGA cameras in their low end segment. That's because they're much cheaper than 1 megapixel cameras. Isn't that why there's a low end market?

@shaliron
The RAZR didn't have a low-end price.
It has now, now that it is years old but when launched, they were around £250 if not more.

Well, the RAZR V3 wasn't really positioned as a low end product. It was in the first wave of fashion phones, and back then, you got it for the looks and the quality of the materials. Sorta like what the 8800 is. The 8800 only has an SVGA camera, and a pretty basic screen etc. and it's features could be substituted for something better but if they can mae a profit by putting in lower class components, then so be it! Also, I don't think that it's really feasible to put a 1.3 megapixel camera in a budget handset, unless you want to mae the rest of the components cheap to make up for the camera.

It is feasible to put a 1.3 megapixel camera in a low end cameraphone without compromising cost..using off the shelf chipsets....
