@pablo - That's SAD . . . the K750 really is a NICE fone to own. For me it's COMPARABLE with the K800 (minus the 3G feature . . .) .

@tranced - here at my end . . . celfone is more of a Status-Symbol thing . . . the NEWER model you have . . . the more popular you get . . . but don't be deceived much with that . . . as I am seein' some guys who have OLD model fones but has NICE cars !

yeah, i know what you mean. i've seen a guy with a startac but he has a nice car though. i have my k750 because i found all i was looking for. i dont have to mention what, right? here, ppl have starting to get the k790a because of the camera, others just for fashion and i dont like that.

@tranced - Yup, at my end . . .it's mostly the megapixel on the cam + 3G features (which majority don't USE) . . . for the business geeks it's the Wi-Fi etc. features . . .

Yeah, i hear you. Some people out there buy a certain handset just because it is popular. Nowadays it is Nokia N series, you just have to get one. 6630 was also like that, and 6600 before that.
In Turkiye people spend too much for new handsets. Here you probably know someone who bought a popular fone twice his monthly income. Everybody has the right to do whatever he wants to do with his money, but i'm just trying to reflect a situation that i feel is interesting.

They had both Walkman stuff and Camphone advantages together in k750&w800, and now they split it in half to force a choice between one or another. The best substitute in terms of price and functionality seems to be w810, but it still is a backstep from the former two models i think.

@last - It's probably the same here, people spend a bit too much on handsets and probably don't use most of it's features, I'm constantly surprised by the number of people who have fairly high-end handsets and only call/text on them, and if they take any pictures they stay on the phone, so when they get rid of the phone the pics go too!
I can see
doing with the K750i what Moto have done with the Razr, which is to bring out various different colours mainly for the pay as you go market, I'm sure there's still some life in that model yet, despite it being succeeded by the K800i! Makes an excellent budget cameraphone. I have to admit at the moment I've gone back to using a K750i, as I'm finding I'm slowly scratching and marking the camera coating on my unprotected W810i camera lens, and not really using it's music player/
functions.
