They say on SE-NSE that PhoneSX supports CID49, anybody know about this?
I have the link, but i'm hesitant to post it here as i have already posted a "false alarm" yesterday or so.

Yep. I have fixed mine along with some nice tweaks on my phone. Thank god for PhoneSX.

After reading the whole 4 pages of this thread, I have to insist on this point: Where's the "official" part of this statement????

SE doesn't officially accept that the hissing problem exists (e-mail SE Online Support and ask about the hiss), hence no planned fix at the moment.
They probably won't come up with a fix, untill it is calculated to be a better course of action, instead of ignoring consumer requests and losing them probably forever.

Wow, what timing for a thread?! I was going to Sony Plaza tomorrow to their SE Store specifically to buy a W810. Now, change of plans. I'll go and look, but no way I'm buying anything! I'll at least wait until MacWorld and see what Apple has to offer in the way of the rumored iPhone.
Something like a dozen people at work, at my firm and others, look to me for technology advice. Personal buying recommendations, like what laptop to buy, what cell phone, etc. I'm the local alpha-geek with a fetish for gadgets so naturally I've become a source of info. Until there is a satisfactory resolution to this issue, I'm stearing myself and everyone who asks away from Sony Ericsson phones. I love my K790i, but if the company behaves like it is, ignoring this problem, how can anyone have faith in them? The rootkit fiasco was bad, but another problem like this just tears their remaining credibility to shreads. And with so many other choices available for cell phones, why go with a company that doesn't care about their customers?
I might only be one little, insignificant sale to SE, but who knows how many sales I'll steer away from them? Ah, that Canon camcorder was looking pretty good anyway....
i like ur attitude! save us customers from the devil >D
i was quite sick of this hissing and se's attitude to it so i and gave up on se not too long ago.
