But its ok, I can live with it until the R6 arrive

Hi all, just updated today and am not noticing a great deal of improvement. Still, it is a bit faster and I like the way you can turn transitions on and off etc.
Anyway, I found this bug (well sort of!) just now: When creating an MMS and adding a "fine" picture quality picture to the message, it doesn't automatically resize if for you (like it used to). It just says that the recipient probably won't be able to receive the message because of its size. It then proceeds to add the nice big 400K+ pic to your message!
So, to get the phone to automatically resize your picture, you have to go into your MMS Account settings (in FO mode), click the pull-down menu and go to Advanced Settings then set "Creation mode:" from "Free" to "Restricted"
Hope this helps some others.

And if you don't have 'edit' in the shortcut in FC, open the shortcut in FO, close the flip and open the shortcut in FC again, and 'edit' would re-appear, for me at least

Hi, yesterday I tried to update my p990i twice from the SE site - both cases failed in the sense that the phone seemed to have gotten a new firmware (i.e. I went "successfully" through the complete update process), however the organizer version is still the old one (i.e. no R5A17) and I also do not see any signs of the new version (i.e. no way to turn the transitions on/off, still frequent crashes
. Do you have any idea what is wrong? Would it help to format the phone's memory before the update? Please help ....

check the status (flip closed mode) under ...more...status.
there you can see the version of the software running on your phone.
cda is a part of that software... a very important part...
check this link to see if you have the latest version...

Create a new entry in Calendar in FC mode. As you move down the fields with the joypad, the Location field is skipped. If you hit Edit quick enough you can enter the field.
Or is it just me...? My theme (the SE-supplied 'Porcelain'.... nothing fancy)...?
I think there are a number of bugs related to FC mode on this phone. If my work was this shoddy, I'd have been sacked years ago....

The CDA is R3A01 - so it's quite old, but this is the version that was yesterday installed from the SEUS. How can I get the newest version - any help is _very_ appreciated ....
Just a note: While checking the CDA, my phone crashed again ..... I really need a new firmware (or a new phone ;-( - which would be bad since mine is just two days old .....
