Hardly!!, Why do you think European vehicles all carry prestige status in the US, even Volvo , such cars are mundane over here, but infinitly superior to the Barges pushed out for US consumers.

None of which changes the fact that VW is stylistically emulating Honda and Toyota, while Audi is aping Subaru.

And in the last few years here, US makes have trounced VW and Audi in quality, reliability, and service satisfaction.

Come now, really... A VW looking like a Toyota? Prove it!! And Audi looking like a Subaru??? DO you know how many awards Audi have won in the last 2 years??? Design and engine awards.

If you cant tell the difference between a Jap car and a German car you must be American!!

Oooooh!!! Its for real!!!

3.7 seconds, 325 km/h, 750 Newtonmeters

Its 6,0 Liter Biturbo engine is longitudinal and placed directly behind the driver and the front seat passenger. The Golf GTI W12-650 differentiate itself in this way from the classical central engine car. A 6-speed automatic transmission transfers 750 Newtonmeters (at 4.500 rpm) to the rear axle. It catapults the Golf GTI W12-650 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. With a maximum speed of 325 km/h the Golf GTI W12-650 leaves behind nearly all of the world's supercars.

Even if Ferdinand Piech was your grandfather you wouldn't get one. They basically took a V12 engine that you'd probably get in the Phaeton and squeezed it into the Golf 5
