just found 1 bug. when i make a call and when i press speakers sometimes i get sound like zzzzzmmmmmmzzm. did anyone have same bug guys?
Yes, it happened to me once, but I hung the call, called again, and it was gone!
I do confirm this problem also, but since I use it a lot, I constantly get this problem in almost every call I make. Whenever it sounds "metallic" just click twice on the "Speaker" key (this will transfer the sound back to the phone, and the second keystroke will reroute the sound to the Speaker without the noisy-metallic sound), and you do not have to make a call again.

Also I have been experiencing a problem when I try to open files larger than 400 KB. P990 tries to open the file, but some time later it says "Problem to open the file"... when in previous versions of FWs it opened just fine.
Another thing happens, if I had open any other application, and then I try to open a large file, along with the fault above described, the application I had open... they just close by themselves... meaning that not only I could not read the document I received, but any other application I was working on (even if I was editing a note, or an email) that all just dissapears.
This makes me even more pi$$ off!!!

By the way, has anyone have problems with the alarm application?...
today I just woke up earlier than I used to, and I got my 630am wakeup alarm buzz...which I just dissmissed it (and since I like to sleep a little more I have a second and a third alarm at 635, and 640 am respectively), but my P990 just did not buzz at 635 nor 640... but close to 11 am!!!.. then I checked the alarm settings, and it was like I had it 630, 635 and 640 am... but why the heck the alarm buzzed on until 11 am!!!???... there were neither other reminders nor alarms whatsoever.
And frankly I think this problem has happened before, but since I was pretty knocked-off sleeping on, I just did not recall if I had dissmissed the other two buzzes.

What new setting?

Truely impressive.
All the mentioned bugs in this firmware were actually not there in R5.
R6 sux imo...and yet SE are stopping firmware upgrades.
AND THE PHONE STILL HANGS AFTER A FEW HOURS OF UPTIME!!
What the f**k is SE thinking? We aren't beta testers, we are paying customers who 'foolishly' enough bought the flagship phone (or shit) they make.
SE needs at least 2-3 more firmwares to assort all the problems, or else, its will get a major ass kick interms of market share and publicity/bad mouthing.
AGAIN: THE PHONE HANGS AND RESTARTS 'TO IMPROVE THE F***ING PERFORMANCE!!!

I have almost the same problem with the alarm. Sometimes it rings on Saturdays and Sundays when it's set only on working days and most of the times when i clock the alram to enter a new one instead of opening the editing tab, the alarm starts ringing even if it's 12 o'clock or 6 PM, or whatever..
Weird...luckly it's not a habit but happened a few times only.

New Problem
Updated Firmware last night! MISTAKE
Recieved a phone call to day, picked up Vibrating carried on and on and on. Couldnt stop the vibrating, had to turn the phone off to stop the phone from vibrating!
Also they havent fixed the problem that when you text someone and leave the text half finished it locks the phone as soon as you come back it has applied the Equivalent of the 'ALT' button you carry on typing and then realise your in symbols!
The AutoFocus in video is annoying as well, also the light doesnt work for me in Video either! I heard it did!
Drives me insane! SE are stupid! They need to test their phones before they sell them!

Had a major problem last night
Was surfing esato using the 990's default browser over wifi, trying to write a reply when, BANG! Several Kernel error messages, then the phone restarted itself. When it booted up again, it informed that it had rebooted to increase performance.
I wouldn't mind, except it never did this with R5 firmware!

yes!!! I did it...downgraded from R6 to R5...good thing i have a spare credit from kulankendi...it was risky at first since if i mess things up, i need to buy another credit & it takes forever to get the credit i know...it was my last lucky credit...change it to PHilippines trade generic & when i booted up, it says i have R6 so i updated at SEUS (just once) and after the update, now i have R5...
i know i'm going to miss few features of R6 (clear pic thumbnails & few little things only) but it's important for me to have that email bug removed...hopefully if they will continue releasing updates then i will update my fone again after all the reviews...hehehe...good luck to us
