good to hear mate, i got mine today

F**K ME! so hard to get used to this phone after having k750/k800 for some time..keep going for the joystick and its...not there! lol

looks like i gotta play with it ALOT before im used to the qwerty style keyboard, having no joystick, using touch screen/stylus/keyboard combinations. does look very stylish and feels very nice & also a very good size for all it offers..not too big at all. unlike the n95 which I felt was quite bulky as stated before.

ps: the case looks quite nice BUT...............

ONLY USE IT IF YOU WANT SOME VERY STICKY GLUE ON THE SIDE OF YOUR NEW SEXY P1!

how gutted was i to find this out...makes it completley useless

Hi stevevalo,

My personal opinion is if i had both in my had i would most likely choose w960i but bought the p1i simply because i couldnt wait and needed a new phone, plus i didnt want to miss out on the o2 deal.

p1i is a great phone & im still getting used to it!

phones like k750/k800i you can just pick up and quickly do almost all things where as p1i and most likely w960i take longer & usually require both hands, so texting with 1 hand while driving is a no no (not that id do that lol) but then again it is a smart phone so....

Im getting used to querty keyboard now but think w960i style keyboard would be alot easier as i use several phones so switching from qwerty to normal style can be a pain.

anyways i will most definately buy a w960i once out and at reasonable price unless sony bring out another beauty which is even better??? lol

hope this helps & good luck!

ps; why not go into local phone shop & try out a p1i, might help also.

hello Cos, how do you like the p1i so far. im in the same boat as most people are and i can't make up my mind whether to buy the p1 or w960. Im afraid money is an issue for me because im going to have to buy it with my own money so i can't simply buy the p1i and the w960... is the p1i fast and how is the media player on it?

Wait!

The P1 is a hastily slapped together product that brings shame to its predecessor, the P900, which was a beauty to use.

Not worth wasting your money on this half-baked toy!

well, if you don't like the P1i I don't think you'll like w960.

I'm fully happy with my P1i, for its phone/web/pushmail/music/business/applications capabilities and build quality. A (very) little disappointed by photography, compared to a K800i. One thing missing is a big storage capacity, solved with a m2 card so everything's fine.
So I don't think it's worth waiting for W960 if you have to choose between the 2.
