It has to be done only once! There is no new fw anymore. So one can be stuck either with 59 RAM or 61MB RAM.... forever

Yes, the language support for T9, letters and virtual keyboard remains, even after format, but the menu languages are being deleted during initial setup.
Otherwise they would appear in the list of available languages.
OK. You are right. In fact that is why the first boot takes so long.

Is there anyone with World1 and firmware still R9F / org R5 ? If so, kindly check your RAM / ROM via SMP. Is it 59 or 61 ?
I am trying to figure out if this is related to some CDAs only, like in my case Netherland, or, fw version.
Because if its fw, then the world1 with R5 organizer should also have 61/3!

Orange UK branded R4B03 (I think). R8A hardware.
Also I have the record for uptime, had to switch P990 off for flight, uptime was 39 days

Great, thanks. Do you know if he wants to update.... soon? And if so, could you ask him BEFORE he connects to SEUS, to go to the SonyEricsson folder under Updates: 13740270 and move it out of there! If he doesnt want to delete, just move it somewhere else for this.
Then when he connects to SEUS, the serivce will REBUILD this 13740270 Folder and only the files of that current update are in there!
Finally, I or perhaps some others too, would need the few files all under 1KB. Then I could do the change and then upgrade.
Regards
