Just heard that R1F firmware is out for the T300.

Anyone knows what improvements over the R1D?

DAM! And I just got R1D installed a week ago while I was in Europe. Now I have to wait another year before I can get a new firmware upgrade as I am not going to send my phone to Ericsson here in the US and be without a phone for a week. I live in a 4 million people metroplex and we don't have a stinkin' Ericson Service Point to flash the phone on-site! Totally ridiculous!

Flashed mine with R1F in Greece five days ago. No noticeable improvements. The sms tone has supposedly been changed but I have not had the chance to verify it. SE is a mobile lovers' dream in Greece. There are hundreds of service points even in small towns This message was posted from a WAP device

Haki> please let us know improvements on the R1F, is true new sms signal? I hope so, is there more free space once you delete predefined things on it? hope so, cheers.

I cannot check the sms tone because I do not have the phone any longer. I thoroughly checked the situation regarding the deletion of predefined items and I can tell you that it is the same as in R1D; ie, you cannot delete anything! This message was posted from a WAP device

Why would you want the remaining battery time indicator. It's about as accurate assembling tools at a nokia factory...

My t68i starts out at a whopping 290+ hours(varies slightly)
And lasts me 3 days.. With normal use...
You do the math. I could very well do without it...
It was accurate enough on my previous(non color screen) ericssons. but not on this one. But then the display light is so bright I can use it as a flash light when taking a piss in the middle of the night.

I think the t300 is a great phone, BUT it really should have more memory:( maybe if we haras SE they will create a software update allowing pre-defined objects to be deleted. :-) This message was posted from a T300
