thats a great idea, the phones dont work as they should so get an x1 instead.

Anyway im a bit frustated. Why people still stuck in the past? (Arguing over 2years old phone)
P990 is a newbred uiq 3 phone so you cant expect it to work properly. Also if you are nokia user why dont you complain a newbred s60 like 7650 for lousy slider, camera always scratch, ui freezing if internal memory near full?

A think is still on the learning stage, because their company is still young compared to nokia, samsung, or motorola.
So, If you have faith in then support em. If dont just simply leave em!


Why you guys always look from negative side? Geez

I know and I'm fully aware of that and makbil has a very valid point. It wasn't the most 'diplomatic' of replies at all. I'm still hoping Mizzle will post the reply when it arrives as a lot of people invested time and money in the P990i, myself included.

Why not did we get at a special new line may not work price or did people pay a premium price for a flagship product? We looked at what SE said this devcie was going to enable us to do and paid a price that was based on it's functionallity not what they delivered and then made there users endure for a nearly a year before telling us it was perfect and introducing 3 New Bugs in what they considered a last firmware.

That then needed a mass campaign on the Net to force SE to release a last firmware to fix these newly introuduced bugs. You seriously wonder why there is so much resentment for SE and why people won't just drop it. Maybe you like being taken for a fool but many of us don't that's why it continues and we don't let it drop.

As for this classic SE supporters defence which is truly sad

Well how about because we are discussing SE so what relevance does what any other manufacturer do or not, simple answer it doesn't as we are discussing SE's problems for that you need a Nokia thread.

As for your last comment i won't even bother answering such a stupid question.

How can you be sure Mizzle didn't mean it? as i am pretty sure he did and does as the way he has spoken to Sharilon and Makbil is nothing compared to a PM i received and IMO is beginning to show his true self now. But i would imagine that's fine for most of you as he supports SE and gives you snippets of info and i don't. But please don't defend his actions as he didn't mean it when you have no way of knowing you are just guessing and hoping, let him clarify he didn't mean it if he didn't.

It may be close to two years but it hasn't performed up to SE's own published specs since day 1 - and we paid for it, that gives us the right to talk.

Will you just read what you have written!!! Following the same logic, no one should expect the X1 to work, it's SE's first WM phone.

Not yet but most likely will become a Nokia user in 2009. They may have similar technical issues but at least they respect the opinion of their customers and keep supporting their products.

For those who had some comments about the title of this thread, the content of this thread is exactly as I hoped it would be.
Also, those who "wisely" suggest we "get over it" and forget the P990, we may be abandoned by SE but even if I don't get my money's worth out of the P990, I will keep voicing SE's arrogance and bad intent in the hope that I may open the eyes of some innocent user before they are victimized by SE as well.
