Well I've been using my w995 for approx 2 weeks now, and the sliders just gone! Nice and firm when closed but loads of 'play' when open!!

Think this handset is due a change!

I went down to my local Service Centre today and wanted to ask him about the wobble on the bottom left corner.. However, I think the phone got scared shitless and stopped wobbling - not even one bit. It used to be so loose that there's a faint 'click' when pressed. Anyway, right in front of the customer service officer, the phone was perfect. I thought it might be the air conditioning (cooler temperature, the parts contract?).

So I left, since I couldn't show them what the fuss was about. I left the mall and went back outside for lunch before heading home. Until now, the phone is still in the 'perfect' condition! I guess the problem kinda of fixed itself? Maybe it needs a bit of running in...

Oh btw, does anyone experience a popping sound when playing sounds through the headphones? Everytime, right before and after the phone plays a sound, there's a strange, popping sound.

Sliders do wobble. Its not an issue. Gawd. The Nokia N81 my friend had was wobbling like a belly dancer the week it came off the shelves.

Yes, sliders do wobble, but they shouldn't if they are built properly. Why should they wobble? Is it meant to be a feature of some sort?

You've GOT to be kidding! My sister's N81 when open can do 5-6 degrees spin and wobbles like a shit... and even nokia says it's not normal. And btw I can make music by pressing the slider of my n95. It goes 3mm inside and makes a "knock".
