GSM Arena has posted its review of its pre-production unit of Sony Xperia Z3+.

Indeed the Z3 + is an upgrade from the previous generation, but when it comes to image and video, this is a real setback.

All photos taken with the camera Z3 + show softness in the corners and a lot of noise in higher contrast areas.
Not to mention, of course, the lowest level of detail.

In the department video, auto focus continues to fail miserably and any frames of motion, he recasts the focus.

Honestly Sony Mobile is a ready joke, as the best cameraphones in today's world (G4, Note 4, Note Edge, S6 and S6 Edge) use SONY EXMOR RS imaging sensor

camera-wise they are really behind but there are still good things about Sony mobile like good battery life and ingress protections, design is also unique.

This is a review of a almost final version of z3+

4:55 are photo samples, which is truly impressive.

7:55 shows the spotify intergration

They also mentioned that the audio quality is definately better than S6, M9 or G4

I just saw the review on gsmarena.. the studio shots are interesting as always.

Did a quick comp vs the 930 .. no Bueno

looks like there is still too much compression for Z3+, but looks a tiny bit more detail, when will Sony learn not to compress the crap out of the jpeg, some people really don't mind large file size.

Sorry, but there are areas where it's quite the opposite.
Nokia often shows much less detail.

I know I should not be pixel peeping, but for studio shots, it seems that Nokia can produce smoother lines on "grey chart", but in reality, its not. Have a look on the colour poster. You can see, Nokia's anti-aliasing renders the photos less detail than Z3+. So unless you are using your phone to take photos of lines, Z3+ seems to be a better choice.

I think its pretty clear at this point Samsung, LG, Nokia Apple are all using using graphic filter to hide the limitation of the tiny camera sensors in phones. LG is the worse in the current line of flagship follow by Samsung. If you change the camera to G4, move the zoom in portion to the girl face, G4 sample looks like a oil painting where others won't be and guarantee the original source isn't. That is horrible IMO. Sony in most cases are light in imagine processing and always heavy on image compression.
