I dont know where you live but if you telephone Ericsson on: 08705 237237 they can tell you the closest service point. In London there is one in Wimbledon and one in Tottenham, which is the one I have used, absolutely no probs took less than 30 mins (while U wait) and its free

, perfect.

What does R1C do?

How much will it cost?

It wont cost you anything
Some have been having problems when using gprs and wap,..seems to "cure" this.
The phone becomes slightly faster. But it mainly correct some things in connections.

Hi Folks,
I heard a lot about this version R1C...but I never heard if and what the new software fixes. Will the mobile work faster? Are any well known bugs fixed? Are there any new bugs?
I would really appreciate to know, if I should upgrade my software as for now my T68 is working slow but perfectly.
Thanks for any info..
Bye Hulix

Did you notice:
...just read a sms and do not go back to the menu...(sms still diplaying) and send yourself an sms...You will not recieve it!! You will recieve the sms when you go back by pressing NO from the sms you are just reading...(One step back)!!
Is it a bug on R1C or is the problem on R1B too?
Could you please check? (R1b and R1C users.. btw I have R1C)

laffen I have test my T68 sms problem and discover that even when it says "sms 2" and/or "sms 3" it arrives only 1, so I pay for only one sms finally , I did a couple of test with my friends mobile, she receives only one sms in all cases, do you know something more on this, happy new year, regards.
That she got one, means that her phone supports concatenated SMS (try this on T10 and you will receive 3).
In fact, you have sent 3 SMS and you will pay for 3 SMS. Plain, simple.

This is normal behaviour with all the Ericssons I have - if you are reading SMS, you will not get any notification that new SMS was received until you stop reading.
It is about the notification, not that the SMS is "not received".
