i guess they just remove my old board and replace me with a new one.....
still using back the same handset.
as for ur back up problem..... i guess u have to use ur laptop's infrared port to do the transfering... u can just use the cd that comes with the phone to sync all ur info to laptop.

So its obvious that there's a hardware problem with the phone and what EricServe is doing is a work-around the problem by doing the audio calibration. In the end, we're still purchasing a defective unit.
Do u think we can get a final replacement? My phone is still crapping out on me. Just yesterday, it went into sleeping/hibernation mode again. Even though its turned on, people who calls me get a "User is not available" recorded message by Maxis. So I had to reboot it. Man.. this is not Microsoft Windows. These days, I hardly need to reboot my PC which stays on for weeks.
What do u guys think?

is there any audio effect after the calibration ? i mean the ring tones and the ear piece(sp?) getting lower ? nooooo

those missing game, picture, ringtone and theme can be downloaded thru WAP or thru you PC (tranfer to the phone thru Bluetooth or Infar Red)
T610 allow you to delete almost everything except the SonyERicsson ringtone and most of the small picture preloaded (MMS and EMS usagE).
you can get the 5 stone back thru gprs download.

I guess the biggest problem of T610 is Demand for it is more then the Supply (at least this is what is happening in Penang). It original cost at RM1599 but now some shop are selling RM1899. Worst still, there is not enough stock, doesn't mind whether is the 1st batch or 2nd batch. As I have order for almost 2 weeks and still waiting.........

i think 2day i pay my 4 or 5th visit liao to Ericserve...(myself also lost count
i went back 2day cuz ive got 3 problems:-
1) found out that my back top cover were loosen (the cover with that SE logo on it)
2) there some grey dots on my screen. ( bout 3 little dots )
3) check if they can install back my "fivestones" game or not?
and i waited bout 1 hour....and finally u know what...
the back cover is still loosen and cant be repair, there is still some very light grey dots on screen and lastly they cant install back my fav game/
But luckily, Jeff (the technician) gave me his word that he will replace a brand new set (swap 1 to 1)once the new batch has arrived..... no more calibration!!!! at that time all i can do is to trust him loh..... i ve gotta wait till end of June...
i can feel that he also damn scared to see my face againloh... maybe that i m one of his fussiest customer... that's my report today.
i think my case is same as urs, markng: we have to wait again...
