@Caspa

I have just ordered one on upgrade on T-Mobile. Had to do it. This will be my 4th. The sales person said I can exchange in the 28 days after I get it until I am happy!!! Alternatively send it back for a refund within 7 days.

What do you suggest?

Some people are getting ones they are now happy with. According to sales at SE, the main thing is that they are R3A and at least W21, though W23 is preferred.

The upside with CPW that the phone is sim unlocked!!! Do you know what the codes on the stock is?

I went into CPW today and checked one out it was w20. They said as soon as they sell that one they will get more in. I must admit though it is one sexy phone.

I think its going to be ages before these new phones reach us punters.
I have tried 3 CPW today one got a shipment today and it seemed to be w19 and not the R3A, one was expecting a delivery but didn't get it, the other i think got either 19 or 20.

So i think i'm just going to get one then take it back in a few weeks before the return policy runs out and exchange it. (its better than nothing-like what i have at the moment)

I didn't get chance to make a call with it, but it is a sexy little phone and the polyphonic sounds were great and loud and clear.

Anyone got a non-hissing T610 from CPW yet?

I have more or less decided to buy one as soon as I can, but every store I go into seems to be out of stock.

Been in several CPW's today - none have any stock whatsoever, they are all (literally said no store in London have a SIM free one) in the central warehouse at the moment. Hopefully this means a new batch, but who knows?

I've ordered one for £270 (got 10% discount voucher - got another voucher too if anyone wants it for a fiver?! ) and it'll arrive here tommorrow morning. Even if it's a hisser, i'll just get it off to Celestia, and sell my hiss-free unlocked T-mobile one (I know the T-zone icon goes to the o2 homepage now, but it's bugging me! )

Well I went into CPW today and they had a few in the store in Plymouth city centre. All R2A hissing ones though. I told the lady that apparently R3A are the ones which are ok and she is gonna ring round and try to get me one. If she can't then she said just go into the CPW @ the end of the 28 day exchange policy and see if they have them then.

Sounds good to me!

My 28 days runs out @ beginning of July.

Hi
I have had 3 from CPW. All hissers. That was the end of last week. 2 of them were direct from CPW's head office. I asked for them to be tested before they sent them to me but they didn't. So I gave up and sent it to Celestica. I have been told it should be back with me tomorrow. Can't wait.
Cheers, Rich
