And the guy at the shop told me its the newest firmware ( i bought the phone about a week ago )...i'm so stupid:-(. At least i havent got any problems with it. Tnx mate! :-)

I was in the same situation they keep telling me R1L was the latest but I told no and give them the version number: R3C004 (i'm in asia, europe should be R3C002)
and it's only then that the lady decided to call the technical guy and so surprisingly the answer: "yes, you're right we have it, we can upgrade your phone no problem"
silly isn't it?

must be a thread that resolves your problem! You should just
and you'll find almost everything you want. All of this that I told you can be found in Esato FAQ but I spared you some clicks and a few seconds of your time.
Solution for your problem : you can download a program called SendFile from
http://www.christersson.org/software.php . You can use this program to send files to your mobile phone. You need to have Mobile Phone Monitor installed before using the program (can be found at
www.sonyericsson.com).
