clause 8.2 refers to ending the agreement by giving 30 days notice??not them giving 30 days notice of any tariff changes?? well that how it sounds to me?

true just looked at that clause does not refer to them giving you 30 days notice for increasing charges

sounds as though you work for o2 and want to cover up the cut out!

Spoke to O2 last night and they sat that the tariffs HAVEN'T changed!!

The confusion has arisen because the original international tariffs were listed in a table minus VAT whereas the new ones are listed in a table including VAT!

If anyone can point me to a tariff that has definitely increased, please do so

i agree with you and everyone else that diff o2 staff give diff answers

i dont think though that it cant be done as i have done it; cancel my o2 contract that is without charge within the 12 month period - it was doen though with no mention of this clause or any relating topis. they just let me go.

Well after a bit of investigation, the only tariff that I could see had definitely increased was the internal US calls when roaming in the US.
Unfortunately O2 CS stated that I had to be able to show that I had made these type of calls before (and hence would be disadvantaged) before they would consider letting me out of the contract via clause 8.4(c)

Now what's the cheapest return flight to New York ;o)
