I couldn't read the whole thread. I just couldn't. I stopped somewhere at 85%. Why? Cause people act like some kids, whose toys have drained the bateries! And I'm afraid when they'll be 40, or something. Guys... chill out. What's wrong with you, people? It's better than nothing! If you can not accept this thing, then those smartphones are not made for you. SE is selling software too. Why? Because is cheaper than hardware. So what P800 could use Duo Pro using a mod firmware? I own a P800, but when I bought it, I've read all about it. If this Duo Pro issue, is soft related, then, again, kudos for SE, for going the cheapest way: software!

In the kindergarden there were two kinds of kids: those who always had the latest toys and those who could only envy them. All the slightly psychotic behavior in the technomaniac forums can be deducted from those two basic groups.

The P910 has more internal memory 64 MB and 1000 MB external (max)
The MPx 300 has 32 MB internal memory and 512 MB external (max)

The P910 has 32 MB RAM is a must and powerfull.
I don't know the RAM from the MPx 300.

The P910 has Symbian platform and MPx 300 Micosoft platform.

The P910 has far better screen to,it's 18 bit TFT instead of 16 bit TFT.

It's looks like that the P910 has more power.

@draak1

1. The MPx has about 21/22 MB of RAM for apps.

2. The MPx does not have a jog dial and you can only read SMS and Contacts with the flip closed

3. The battery life is very poor with the MPx. Users are reporting you probably need 2 batteries for a whole day while you could the same tasks with one battery with the P900 (similar daily usage)

4. The MPx is still in development and things may change and improve (battery & RAM)

5. The MPx does not have RIM email and cannot display HTML emails (unlike the P910)

I think it is good we have more choices, but I fear the MS OS is not that stable and Moto are not good at developing phones with a good battery life.

@Jah

I honestly think one can get more production out of the A1000 then the MPX. I did find a couple Japanese models very close to that of the A1000 with a little bit more spunk. Kinda reminds me of an AU model that I played around that had an intergrated full color graphics GPS tool. With that said, the large screen size and fast data transfer does have a bit more appeal. Seems like a closer candidate for the business person rather then the MPX.

WiFi seems to be scarce no matter where I go. Its level of service is really at a 'pay as you go' rate at this moment despite push by companies to hook consumers into long term commitments. I have no issues connecting to a WiFi hotspot in several places. Problem is it's rarely sponsored by the carrier that I subscribe to. I've attained data transfer speeds above 1Mbps with some 3G handsets in the Far East, but the numbers peeter out on the Western Hemisphere. I think I will pick up the A1000, but I doubt it will really be a big competitor with the other leading smartphone giants. I look for 3G to really get a push by Q4 of next year once we see Western manufacturers begin to see some competition from the networks that have already capatilized on the technology for the past couple years.

This little guy does wonders.. I consider this to be on the 'low end' smartphones I got to play with. Again there was a model that looked (esthetically) just like the A1000, but blew it away in the feature deparment. Very affordable with some massive features.. Actually considered average mobile phone amongst its competitors. Didn't cost much I might add. The feature icons are pretty much self explanatory. The vid camera icon depics an 'EZMovie' feature that allows filming with an actual light and then there's the radio feature that plays on dual speakers with 3D surround sound. You'll notice the screen on the display shows a Navi course. All GPS systems are intergrated into the phone, but I was certainly impressed by how they were ramptly available with full colors and precise accuracy in cheap flip phones.
