I think it depends on your lifestyl. If you take most of your pics in the pub's ,disco's ,night clubs (like I do) then the nokia is probably better. The other thing is people does not save pictures on their cells but on the pc (cd) so the cells screen quality only means something while capturing. After all the pic is going to be shared. On the other hand the SE is cheaper !I love both :-)

nokia 6230 and k700i are on par in terms of picture quality
the pictures above were taken with firmware 3.14/3.15 which are very very bad.
but the latest firmware of nokia 6230 which is 4.28 improved the quality a LOT
here you can see the difference
taken with FW 3.15
taken with FW 4.28
last but not least, k700i is a generation BEHIND nokia 6230 (well except for display)
k700i has soooo many shortcomings, and is so overhyped ...
just to name a few. ridiculously small addressbook with only 510 numbers (not even entries. nokia 3100 can store more number
, you can search throught the addressbook only with one letter (okey it's fine if you have like 10-20 contancts
, the calendar is simply a joke, no repeating events (you cannot enter them or edit them), only 6 notes (wow, even nokia 3310 could save 10 items
, no expandable memory, no EDGE support, the night mode on nokia 6230 is better even without the led "flash"
and what about the problem with the 1-2 seconds delay
6230 beats k700i anytime

Nokia 6230 is far behind in many things but most obvious things are visual and sound part.
No offence but your pictures look like it could have been taken with my T630 in VGA mode with less grain though.
Where the heck is the clearness in those shots?? I have seen better pictures than those taken with 6230.

Anyway i got 3 phones nokia 6230,3200 and SE K700i and there is one BIG problem with the Nokia phone memory,well i love to play some games when there is nothing to do MMC is a good thing but ON nokia U CANT store games on MMC the only memory for games its 2 MB of phone memory not MMC and that is it ,2 Mb only and other phone memory only! for images,video,mp3 as MMC too only for mp3,images and other things but u cant run apps from it ! and u cant install apps on it.
So thrust me DONT bye Nokia coz this one is like 3200 with FM better TTF + MMC and some more phone memory (and menu is the same as in Nokia 3200!!!!) and the earphones looks like the cheapest pice of plastic
sh@t i ever,ever,ever seen.
But one thing is good,nokia does better pictures at night or with low lighting ,50 procent better that SE K700.
