I think about 200-215 (max 250) pounds would be more realistic...

@pappfer

No doubt someone would say that that was still to much. The price should drop.

I think it's more of a snobbie thing. Why do people spend > £50k on a car, when it does the same job as a
It distinguishes people who have money and people who don't have much money. That's why people don't mind paying money for a S700i.

Nokia released a titanium mobile a few years ago which was very expensive - even though it had the same features (or less) than other phones on the market.

And yeap for me we dont talk affordability...for me we talk is it a good bargain to buy a se S700 phone instead of more powerful camera and fairly phone?

or Can I ask that is it same value s700 with k700i and 5 megapixel digicam?

so the guy,dave_uk must have been understood this writing process...musnt he?

@Clearday

It is really a question of personal taste, why does anyone buy anything? As someone commented earlier, why buy a car at £50,000 when you could get one at a fraction of the cost that will provide you with the same functions? Purchases are often very subjective, what seems like a waste of money to one person isn't necessarily so for another.

I agree with u scotsboyuk if we talk just "purchasing"
Purchases are often very subjective,rightbut here s a definetely the place called discussion forum,and we discuss these things...price,product,specs,features,is it worth or not? and I dont look further beyond that.For me,the conclusion of this topic who has been indicated by vanquish;Se s700i s not worth for this price recently,but in the following months,it will be good bargain(if other models hasnt got lots of specs,otherwise they will have),so I agree with u it s subjective,not an objective thing...Now,it s waste of money for me...

sure - the s700i is fine on contract.

but still have it priced handset only for 499.99 on their website

and i am sure people buy it!

btw

its the nokia 7610 - quite small, nice looking, with a megapixel camera!

and only 249.99 in the cpw mag.

as i say, its not half as nice as the , so should price it a bit higher, but not a whopping double the price!

@vlamm

i think £300 pounds is fair deal handset only? dont you?

an extra £100 pounds (from k700i £200 pounds) for better cam and better screen? (the swivel design is not a neccesity)

btw : i have changed my avatar

@vanquish

Actually, the 7610 is neither new, nor £249.99. It's £349.99 handset only, and if I were going to spend £300-£500 on a sim free handset, I'd still go for the S700i over the 7610. That keypad is shocking!
