Yes, I see that. But could killing an app be dangerous? If you do that in Windows, you risk losing/corrupting data. Or would the Kill command try to close the app normally first?

I traced the problem I described earlier to Magic Profiles Pro. Whenever a profile is selected with a whitelist, the cam gets disabled. When I switch to a profile without whitelist, the cam is back.
So wrong thread

, will mail Symbianwave directly.

Regarding the above problem, apparently it's a but in the communicam software, which can't handle some icons in FC mode (like with advanced call manager).
Is there any news on version 1.1? And while I'm at it: any news on Magic Themes 2.2? Or are you cooking up a new app at the moment?

If the "whitelist" icon from Magic Profiles Pro is displayed in FC mode, the cam doesn't work. So I unchecked "display status symbols" (can't remember the precise description) the communicam works fine again in FC mode.
According to Symbianwave this has to do with a bug in the Communicam software. The bug also occurs with Advanced Call Manager.

I've figured out why the icon sometimes disappears, or at least when it does it.
If u turn the phone off & put it on oharge & let it go to it's charging screen. Then turn it on and the icon has gone!
Strange

I like the new features in 1.1, but with this version I seem to lose focus on the currently active app when I open the flip.
e.g. if I'm reading an SMS in FC mode, when I open the flip I'm returned to the applications list, so I have to select Messages / SMS / ... again.
This didn't happen in 1.0.
I haven't selected any of the "flush apps" or FO/FC start options within ML, so hopefully I'm not missing anything obvious

. This is on a P900 BTW.

same problem with my p910i, especially with SE Desktop. I'm switching back to version 1.0.
