FrontView news update follows. Beta 2 is just released, available at http://cellphonesoft.com - Download page. Changes in this version include:

- Configurable flip open behavior (Preferences / Function / FO foreground).
- Support for 12/24 hours format in all time displays.
- Temporary test changes to FC dialogs (P800 only).

Sorry for not yet including more fixes and new features. Reason is the P800 situation. Test results so far show that FrontView is even less compatible with the P800 than we anticipated (different UIQ version, etc.). We decided to try "equalizing" the compatibility on all SE smartphones before introducing further major features. We don't have a P800 test machine (shame but true), so testing requires "remote control" and extra effort/time. So, this beta version is for P800 testers in the first place. Registered P800 testers receive some extra material via Email later today.

Also sorry for not responding to all questions that we received in Emails. Simply no time, so please better ask questions on the forum. However, all reports, comments and requests that we got here on the forum or by Emails have been carefully processed and now we have a (rather long) list of what to do. Please be patient and stay tuned, FrontView is getting improved. Next beta is expectable on Monday.

Thanks to all!

when running 24 hour mode (which is normal here in sweden) you do not need the PM to let you know its afternoon......
any way its a great app (keep up the good work) and its very nice to be able to come with thougths and ideas...

but again i know how it is with ideas comming in from every direction since i work with software development my self.....
(i also know how hard i can be to find any bugs on little information so i always try to pin point the faults as good as i can.....)
